How do you play Two-Minute Drill?
On the original site, you call plays in the closing minutes of a real NFL game. The Daily challenge presents the same drive to everyone that day.
- Read the situation. Check the score, time, down, distance and timeouts.
- Make the call. Choose a run, pass, RPO or trick play, and manage the clock when the option appears.
- Review the grade. After the snap, see how your choice compared with the best estimated win chance.
Daily or Survivor?
Daily
One featured late-game drive each day. Everyone gets the same situation.
Survivor
Play real fourth quarters in a row. One loss ends your run.
The original site also lists Versus and a separately purchased Pro option. Check its current access terms there.
What does the grade mean?
The creator grades each call by comparing its estimated chance to win with the best available choice. A good call can still lead to a bad play result. Your Daily finish also shows a percentile against simulated NFL play-callers and a rank among people who played that day. These are different comparisons.
Who made this game?
Two-Minute Drill describes itself as an independent fan-made game, unaffiliated with the NFL. Its game situations and plays use public nflverse data; that data license does not grant this site rights to copy the game or its interface. This page points to the creator’s game.
